Videos Get Fans Ready For the Game

The Auburn Network is the official source for multimedia of Auburn athletics. For the past three years they have created and produced the pre-game videos for home games. They begin brainstorming ideas for the videos during the summer in order for them to be ready for the home opener.

…focused on game day and what it is like here at Auburn…

“We always feel like we have to top ourselves from the previous year, said Rod Brabmlett, lead announcer for Auburn ISP Sports Network. He does the play-by-play for Auburn football games.

Every year there are two videos show; one is to get the crowd excited and the other is an inspirational type video. The first video that is shown was put together by a production company in Birmingham and is shown right before the team comes onto the field. The second video is more for the players but the audience seems to enjoy it more than the first video. The reason for both videos is to “increase the energy in the stadium and get the crowd even more so into the game that’s about to start, Brabmlett said.

This year’s inspirational video focused on game day and what it is like here at Auburn. This is how they came up with the theme of “This is Gameday.

The Auburn Network not only does the pre-game video for football games but also basketball games. They do the radio broadcast for just about every sport on Auburn’s campus and the coaches shows that air on television. They also do print publications such as advertisements and the game programs.
