Auburn Golfer Plays in US Amateur Championship

Auburn University could have a rising star on its hands. Senior golfer Jay Moseley recently played in the US Amateur Championship, proving his potential.

After winning a qualifier in Pensacola, Fla., Moseley was eligible for the tournament. He traveled to San Francisco with his parents last week. Moseley made it through the second round in match play.

He says this tournament goes down as his greatest personal athletic accomplishment. Now that this is behind him, Moseley says he is focusing on a national championship. As a leader on the Auburn golf team, his teammates are collaborating to achieve this goal.
