2007 Miss Homecoming Candidates

t is most every young woman’s dream to become the homecoming queen of her university, and for one of five ladies, this dream is about to come true.
Rachel Kizziah, Mary Kathryn Martin, Hollon McKay, Jessica Minder and Emily Ann Quattlebaum were recently chosen as the top five candidates for Auburn’s Miss Homecoming 2007. The student body will vote Friday, November 2 to select the winner.
In order to be chosen as a candidate, one must first be nominated by a campus organization. From those nominees, a committee of students at large and representatives from the election board select a top 20. Those candidates are then interviewed by a panel of judges who choose the top five.
Kizziah, a psychology major, is a member of the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. She is also a Camp War Eagle counselor, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Ambassador, an Auburn Undergraduate Research Fellow, and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi social sorority.
A public administration and Spanish major, Martin is an Honors College Senior Scholar, Mortar Board Senior Honorary, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and a Camp War Eagle Parent Counselor. In addition, she serves as the Treasurer of the College of Liberal Arts Student Eminent Society and is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta social sorority.
McKay is the President of Alpha Gamma Delta social sorority, a member of the College of Liberal Arts Student Eminent Society and a member of the Auburn University Public Relations Council of Alabama. She is majoring in public relations.
Minder, a biomedical sciences major, is the President of Zeta Tau Alpha social sorority, a Camp War Eagle counselor, and a member of SGA Cabinet. She is also a Tiger Splasher.
Quattlebaum is a public relations major. She is an Auburn University Cheerleader, SGA College of Liberal Arts Senator, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board. She is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi social sorority.
