“Gourmet…” in Auburn?
Not many of us think of Auburn as being “high class,” concluding that Auburn is just not that kind of town that would have fancy boutiques or an array of four or five-star restaurants.
However, one shop here is Auburn is putting a stop to the stereotype. Christine’s Gourmet Steak and Wine Shop, located in the shopping center off Moore’s Mill Road, makes and sells gourmet wine and food items.
Owner and executive chef, Christine Healey, has run her shop for the past four years in hope to offer Auburn a unique option in food choice. They offer a variety of services along with selling the freshest meats, food items, and wine.
They offer catering, wine tastings, cooking classes, and private dinners. Healey seems to truly love and live for her shop. It shows with the attention to detail that she puts into all of her work.
