Children’s Book Drive
Iota Delta Sigma is the Auburn University chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, which is an international honor society for students, professional counselors, and counselor educators.
Chi Sigma Iota was started at Ohio University in 1985. According to www.csi-net.org, Chi Sigma Iota’s mission is “to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.”
There are currently 251 chapters, one of them being Auburn University’s Iota Delta Sigma.
IDS is currently advocating a book drive to receive monetary donations, as well as children’s book donations. Iota Delta Sigma will, in turn, give the donated books to the Auburn University Early Learning Center.
