Apparel Merchandising Majors Get Credit In Italy
Many students would love the opportunity to travel abroad. And even more students would love to get credit hours toward their major while traveling abroad.
Mary Leigh Fite is a senior majoring in Apparel Merchandising at Auburn University. She realized this past summer that even with her major, she could go to Italy and still get credit hours through Auburn for Apparel Merchandising. Fite traveled to Italy with twenty-something other Auburn students and managed to get 13 credit hours. These hours covered all of the professional electives that she needed to graduate.
In this video interview, Fite explains a little bit more about her experiences abroad. Auburn University offers a wonderful program for those who wish to travel abroad and get credit hours for whatever their major. Fite is a perfect example of this opportunity.
