Educating the Future

Senior in special education, Kate Tiffany, is completing her internship this semester. Tiffany is currently working at Fairfax Elementary in Alabama. Tiffany is under the guidance of special education teacher, Susie Chambley, who has worked in special education for 30 years. Her day consists of teaching in the resource classroom and works with 25 students throughout the day. This week her students are celebrating Valentine’s Day with cookies and crafts. They are also learning about the letters in the alphabet, addition and subtraction. To learn more about the special education program at Auburn University, please visit their site.
