The Transition from Student to Teacher

rin Stephan, a senior in Early Childhood Education, gives us insight into her semester as a student teacher at a local elementary school. She spends the semester working in a 3rd grade classroom.

The transition from student to teacher has not been easy for Stephan, but she is enjoying the challenge. This requirement in the College of Education is important to give students the opportunity to experience teaching and put their knowledge to use.
