Auburn Puts Concrete to the Test

Auburn graduate student, Kurtis Boehm, has been working on his research project for almost two years. Boehm is studying civil engineering and focusing on the structural part of it. His research project is centered on testing different types of concrete, and hoping to prove the new type is more useful and beneficial.

He hopes to finish this project in May and suspects his experience working on this project will help him with his future career goals. If the new concrete he is working with becomes the universal type to use, he will be one of the only engineers with his experience with it. When he completes his project, he will be expected to write his paper supporting his thesis and present it to a group of three faculty members.
