Big Research for Graduate Student in Psychology

An Auburn University student from the psychology department is currently conducting big research for the university in the field of psychology and psychometry.

Colleen Holthaus, an Auburn University graduate student since 2005, is working on her doctorate in psychology as well as, interning in Atlanta, Ga., with the Cobb County Psychological Services. In addition to her full time internship she is also conducting research for her dissertation which, focuses on “the effects of child factors on high steaks individualized psychoeducational testing,” said Holthaus.

Holthaus received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and English at Allegheny University, in Pennsylvania, her master’s degree in counseling at the University of West Georgia, a specialist’s degree in psychology at Auburn University and is hoping to receive her doctorate’s degree by December of 2008.
