PR Students head to Atlanta for PR Conference

T

alk about an awesome experience. This past Friday there was a PR Conference held in Atlanta, Ga. for public relations students. Many students came from UGA, Alabama, Valdosta State and of course, Auburn.

The conference took place in Loudermilk Center located in the heart of Atlanta and the conference gave public relations students the opportunity to network and meet professional PR practitioners from all different companies that have offices in the Atlanta area. From Edelman, to Jackson Spalding, there were many practitioners there wanting to help students from all universities.

One of the Auburn students that attended the conference was Emily McGrath. McGrath is a senior about to graduate and attended the day long conference. Take a look at her video and what she tells you about the conference and what she took from the conference.

I hate the way I blink.

Thanks for the interview Kelly! I had fun at the conference and I’m glad we got to share the experience!

If ya’ll didn’t have a chance to go to the Atlanta conference, UGA is holding one this Saturday.

Edelman will educate students in the Southeast on how to use social media tools in campaigns. The conference will be a lot of fun and really inexpensive to go.
