Auburn’s Communication Disorders Program

Sara Grace Smith is a senior at Auburn University. She is majoring in Communication Disorders and hopes to attain a master’s degree from Auburn as well. Her wish is to work with children in a rehabilitation center or a hospital, and help them over come obstacles in their speech and communication.

Auburn University’s Department of Communication Disorders prepares and encourages their undergraduate students to proceed beyond a bachelor’s degree. Smith explains what is required in this field, which includes working and observing clinical sessions.

Auburn’s program holds high expectations for students and is known to be very prestigious. This interview with Smith shows that just like any other degree acquired from Auburn, it takes hard work and effort that will pay off in the end.
