Spring Fever With the Panhellenic President

M

eredith Gaston is a junior at Auburn University. She is majoring in biomedical science. This past December she was elected to be the 2008 Panhellenic President.

Gaston attends bi-weekly meetings with NPC sorority presidents, delegates, junior panhellenic delegates and cabinet members. At council meetings they go over various events that are happening during the week.

On the off weeks, she meets with sorority presidents to discuss concerns and issues of their chapter.

Gaston is very busy planning upcoming spring events. Panhellenic is currently working on Greek Sing, Laps for Cystic Fibrosis, Greek Week and a all panhellenic chapter. All Panhellenic Chapter will be March 12 on the Nichols Center lawn. Panhellenic is trying to raise women’s safety awareness for the upcoming spring break. There will be music, speakers from Safe Harbor and a pie-a-president contest to raise money.
