oward Rush graduated from Auburn University in 1980. He is now a financial adviser in the Savannah, Georgia area. Recently, Rush was asked to represent Auburn University at a college fair which will be held at a local high school.

Tyler Svetich is a senior in hotel and restuarant management here at Auburn University. Svetich and her classmates must complete a practicum before graduation. This practicum gives students an opportunity to see what really goes on inside a hotel and learn the business before they graduate.

Allison McDonald, a senior in human resource management, discusses the benefits of going abroad. Auburn University offers many different programs for students to see different parts of the world.
Some students take classes, while some participate in internships and get great experience in international business. Studying abroad is not just for foreign language majors and minors, but can create life experiences for all students. Students can learn all about the world while receiving class credits.

Amy, a senior in Political Science at Auburn is headed to Italy for the spring semester. Through the program she will obtain a minor in Human Development Family Studies.
Amy and the other AU students in the spring program attended class for the first three weeks of the semester to prepare them for the big trip.

Jessica, a junior at Auburn University, is majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Through Auburn, Jessica is taking a pre-school practicum, which gives her hands on classroom experience. Jessica’s experiences in observing and teaching have helped prepare her for her future career.
