overnor Riley and his wife Mrs. Patsy Riley hosted a Marriage Celebration at their mansion in conjunction with the Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative and Auburn University. All couples in the state of Alabama who have been married for 25 years or more and winners of a statewide essay contest (http://tinyurl.com/32vs7k)
were invited to attend the reception.

Auburn University’s College of Human Sciences and The Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative (ACHMI) will be holding a student essay contest for eighth graders across the state of Alabama. Students are asked to write a 1-2 page essay about a couple he or she knows who have a great marriage. ACHMI wants to know who the couple is, what makes their marriage great, and what the student has learned from them.
