It’s time to deck the halls with boughs of holly, or Samford Lawn in this case. It is about that time to spread the holiday cheer on the plains. The Holiday Celebration is an Auburn Tradition. This year it will be held on Thursday, November 29 from 6:30-8:30 on Samford Lawn.

The Holiday Celebration is a great opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and the Auburn community to come together and bring in the holiday season. This event includes a brief program and then the lighting of the tree on Samford Lawn.

Do you love Turkey Day food? Well here is your chance to eat it twice. UPC is sponsoring a Thanksgiving leftovers cooking workshop. Tre´Shonda Sheffey, Assistant Director of Special Projects for UPC, planned and put this event together.

The event will be Thursday, November 15 at 5:00 PM in Spidle 238. This event is free for students. All you have to do is sign up in the UPC office, Foy 316. Space is limited, so sign up now.

Students that attend will learn how to make turkey tetrazzini, chicken roulade with rice pilaf or cornbread stuffing, baked eggs, mashed potatoes, and twice baked sweet potato pie with streusel topping. It is a fun workshop that not only teaches students how to cook, but they get a free meal too!

¡Estudiar En México!

Every semester Auburn University offers countless opportunities to gain valuable educational and cultural experience in countries all over the world with its Auburn Abroad program.

This past summer, AU sophomore Blair Snell took advantage of one of those opportunities by completing her Spanish minor in Cuernavaca, Mexico. In her video, Blair talks about what her trip was like, what classes she took and why she would recommend that you study abroad too.

Opportunities are available for every discipline, not just foreign languages. You can learn more about Auburn Abroad by visiting the Web site.
