Delta Sigma Pi :: To Foster the Study of Business

Sarah Malik is the Presient of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.

The main goals of Delta Sigma Pi are “to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote a closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.”

According to Delta Sigma Pi, one should join because “it is a specialized fraternity which limits its membership to a specialized field of professional study in colleges and universities offering courses leading to recognized degrees. Secondly, and equally important, is that the professional fraternity maintains a mutually exclusive membership in that field and organized its group life specifically to promote professional competency and achievement within its field as well as its social life.”

Delta Sigma Pi holds what they refer to as rush. You must be invited to join Delta Sigma Pi. A potential member will then go through an orientation process and then receive an education on the history of Delta Sigma Pi to learn how they can make an impact within the fraternity. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sarah Malik.
