Darren Dachelet, a Civil Engineering graduate student here at Auburn, spent last Friday, February 29, introducing students to the fascinating world of engineering on E-Day. On E-Day high school students are invited to Auburn to visit our various engineering departments. Carrie Williams auditioned to be an anchor on Auburn University’s Eagle Eye News at the beginning of the semester and became one of this semester’s three anchors. A Radio, Television, and Film major from Virginia, Williams is thrilled to be the newest addition to the Eagle Eye team. In the video below she discusses being an anchor and delivering Auburn’s latest news.

This past weekend the Auburn Swim and Dive teams won the Southeastern Conference Championship at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. For the senior men, this was their fourth time and it marked twelve straight years of winning SEC’s. In the video below, Scott Goodrich talks about his last SEC win.

overnor Riley and his wife Mrs. Patsy Riley hosted a Marriage Celebration at their mansion in conjunction with the Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative and Auburn University. All couples in the state of Alabama who have been married for 25 years or more and winners of a statewide essay contest (http://tinyurl.com/32vs7k)
were invited to attend the reception.
