The internship will be full-time for 10 weeks. Amelia is excited to have the opportunity to live and work in New York.

Upon finishing the internship Amelia will graduate in August and hopes to go to work for a PR firm.

For the Past 18 years Chris has been working on a project photographing people at local fairs.

For as long as he can remember he has used film to photograph people instead of jumping on the digital band wagon. Recently Kodak has discontinued the film that he has used for all of his fair shoot, and in order to adjust to the digital age he tries a test run using his film and also a digital camera.

When he initially entered the major he had no idea what he was getting himself involved in, but in his senior year he has begun appreciating all he has learned and now thoroughly enjoys all the facets of logistics.

His dreams job is to one day work at UPS.

ave you ever wondered who the security is for an event you have been to on campus? From Alpha Psi’s Rodeo to a sorority formal, you see guys in a gray and black  collared shirt making sure everything goes smoothly at the event.

It is FBL Security. It is a security company owned and managed by an Auburn Alum and a current Marine stationed in Iraq.

Daniel Finz, the prominent owner of FBL created the security company in April 2005. The company has a well-known reputation around the Auburn area, especially in the Greek community. Watch the video to hear more about FBL and the upcoming events they have scheduled for the next few weeks.

She is a senior in political science at Auburn University and works for the Auburn Sustainability Initiative. She is also the co-chair for the Auburn Sustainability Action Program, member of the Environmental Executive Committee and is a weekly columnist for the Opelika-Auburn News. Branyon hopes to educate others on a way to live that isn’t as harmful on the environment.

This last weekend The Stables of Shiloh Farms successfully competed in a show in Gulfport, Mis. 

Reporting on the results, Teresa Tice, owner of Shiloh Farms, will be reading a poem titled ”Gulfport in Review,” written by one of the Stables’ vary own student riders, Jack Nash.

The DRL is being expanded to offer its services to many more students at the same time. They will continue to offer the software packages that other computer labs might not have along with the highest grade printers on campus.

hannon Leutzinger is a senior in graphic design at Auburn University. She is currently working as a student design intern for Auburn Magazine at the Office of Alumni Affairs. While working for the university, she has learned about production, typography, teamwork and how to fulfill clients’ needs. Leutzinger hopes to do logo branding design and packaging design after graduation.

It is an experience that many people apply for and do not get it. For Mary Jane Stacy, she is one of the few who got the opportunity.  Mary Jane is a senior in Communications who got the experience of working in Washington last summer as a junior. Stacy said it was a great experience believes it gave her more opportunities than she thought. Watch her video describing her responsibilities and what she as expected to do in Washington.
